We kept having an issue with the starter failing and turns out gas actually doesn’t heat up the room at all it’s just for show. So we kept the show part, but now it can heat the room if we like as well. Plus we have solar panels and produce an excess of electricity so we’re transitioning anything gas to electricity.

I didn't have any issues with the steering wheel buttons, but mine came stock this way. I imagine the hookup for this might be a bit more complicated so without taking everything apart I'm not sure I'd know how to help you... sorry buddy 😞

To me it’s a tough call, not worth the large lump sum and not reliable enough to trust it won’t crash when you’re liable.

I would definitely not pay the 8K upfront but for $99 during the months I travel it does make the long stretches a bit easier for me. In town you need to be on top of it more but on the open road I find it helps me.

@TeslaTravelsandStops open roads I think autopilot is better than FSD so I think it isn’t worth even the $99 a month.

to be honest never had that issue, they certainly aren't as good as noise canceling earbuds. However, they are more secure and have a ton more battery life which is my preference especially for running

You are right. Elon made some *big* promises about FSD, but today it falls far short. Its nothing like a human driver.

It was a perfect drive both ways with 0 interventions, and extremely smooth in most cases (at least from the video). I am pretty sure it is already driving at the same level as you and most people you know, and it is definitely safer than most, as it will never get tired, drunk, or lose attention.

If you watch them, you will see many interventions. FSD is nothing like a human driver. It's just a simpleminded Level 2 assistant. Nothing more.

I didn’t like the fit. They were uncomfortable after a few miles of running plus have less battery life. But if you want ANC and they’re comfortable to you definitely a better option

You know that’s a good question. There might be a sequence or holding the beats logo for a period of time. From what I understand, no to turn them off you place them in the case when you’re charging them in the case they turn off.

I’m assuming you mean manual transmission, but I’d say since most people can’t drive manual that the percentage is in the 90’s

@@DerrickMoy My car costs me a total of 320€/year for insruance, taxes and road safety inspection. Every couple of years I might have to get a wee repair for 50€ done. New tires are around 100€, including installing them at the shop. According to Google, a new Tesla is priced at around 95000€. So, yeah, you do the maths on how my old car is saving me a whole LOT of money ;) Hey, if you want to spend that much money on a car for no reason, that's fine. I just think it's a waste of money. Then again, I've always been low maintenance and don't care about luxury stuff like that.

Not sure I agree with your opinion. Most people don’t have FSD. And to speak to someone’s character who would buy it is a bit harsh. You can look at it a few ways. Yes, Tesla’s marketing and testing process seems quite maniacal, they get first adopters and free data for testing and to provide data stating this many miles without an accident. I think the overall idea is good for safer driving, but I don’t agree with the methodology they have. The main part is because they are publicly traded they have to justify value which is every company’s downfall. The truth is on average 2 million drivers in the US sustain permanent injuries every year from accidents. Every year there are around 6 million accidents.

Definitely not great, I’d say it’s fairly minor to the rest of the things Tesla sold for the truck that people still don’t have like the light bar or autopilot or the wheels that dig into the tires 😅

The model isn’t very scalable which is why they have their very expensive AI training servers to implement training scenarios which we will teach it lol. Basically if this actually works Tesla will win off the backs of us fools who paid for this crap.

The problem isn’t the software anymore, Elon forced the company to switch from ultra sonic sensors to 1080p resolution cameras aka “Tesla vision” and immediately after the rates of tesla crashes sky rocketed

Been hearing this for years. Version 12 makes a big step but still have a lot of fixes that need to be done.
